COVID Information

We are not accepting any patients who have a confirmed case of COVID-19, a known exposure or those experiencing any of the following symptoms:

  • New cough
  • New onset of shortness of breath
  • Fever
  • New loss of taste or smell

Patients who are currently experiencing symptoms are encouraged to contact their primary care provider.

In alignment with the recommendations from the CDC, all patients are receiving COVID-19 screening at the time of scheduling AND at the time of arrival. We are kindly asking patients to reschedule their appointments if they are experiencing any of the following symptoms: new cough, new onset of shortness of breath, fever or new loss of taste or smell.

In accordance with Connecticut regulations, all patients and visitors must wear a face covering in our office. All staff members will also be masked at all times.

At this time, our exterior doors remain locked, enabling us to screen patients for symptoms and/or risk factors before entering our facility. Upon arriving at our facilities, please follow the instructions posted on the exterior doors to call to gain access to the facility.

As always, the health, safety and well-being of our patients, staff and community is our number one priority. All of our offices maintain stringent universal precautions to ensure that we provide a safe and healthy environment at all times. Together with our cleaning companies, we have ensured that we are using cleaning products that meet the guidelines and recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

At Naugatuck Valley Radiology, we are also taking measures within our facilities to ensure social distancing. Appointments are being staggered throughout the course of the day to decrease the volume of patients in our facilities at the same time. We also ask that all patients limit the number of guests accompanying them to their appointment to one and kindly ask that any guests wait in the car.

We thank you for your understanding as we all work together to navigate through this challenging situation.
