Naugatuck Valley also offers a valuable resource you won’t find at other imaging centers—a team of patient advocates. Their job is to answer any questions you may have about the diagnostic test your healthcare provider has ordered. And they can provide you with information that will put you at ease. Naugatuck Valley Radiology participates with many insurance plans. Please call your insurance company, at the telephone number provided on your benefit card, to verify that Naugatuck Valley Radiology participates with your plan, to find out if your plan requires a pre-certification or referral for radiology procedures, or to obtain authorization to receive care from us as an “out of network provider". You have a number of options when making a payment to Naugatuck Valley Radiology, and we are willing to work with you to find an option that suits your needs.
- Bill Pay Online. -

- Credit Card. - As an added convenience you can pay the balance of charges due after insurance payments with your credit card. You may authorize this in advance, or call the billing office directly when you receive your statement. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
- Self pay. - If you do not have insurance, we will offer a “time-of-service” discount. However, in order to receive this discount the entire amount must be paid on the day of your procedure.
- Payment plans. - Call our billing office at (203) 264-7999 to speak to a patient account representative. We can set up a payment plan to meet your needs.

Services provided at our Franklin Street, Waterbury Location
When you receive radiology services at our office at St. Mary’s Hospital, you will usually receive two bills. The first is from the hospital where the service was provided. This bill, sometimes referred to as the "technical component," includes charges for the equipment, supplies and any non-radiologist personnel (technologists, nurses etc.) who assist with your study. The second bill you receive, sometimes referred to as the "professional component," is from the radiologists at Naugatuck Valley Radiology. This bill included charges for the radiologist who interprets your diagnostic study or the radiologist who performs your procedure.
