COVID-19

Updated 4/22/2020

We are not accepting any patients who have a confirmed case of COVID-19, a known exposure or those experiencing any of the following symptoms:

  • New cough
  • New onset of shortness of breath
  • Fever
  • New loss of taste or smell

Patients who are currently experiencing symptoms are encouraged to contact their primary care provider.

In accordance with Connecticut regulations, all patients and visitors must wear a face covering in our office. All staff members will also be masked at all times.

Our offices are currently operating under a reduced schedule and all services must be scheduled. All patients who have appointments that are affected by these changes will be contacted to reschedule. If you have any questions about our hours or would like to schedule an appointment, please contact us at 203-753-NVRA (6872)

As always, the health, safety and well-being of our patients, staff and community is our number one priority. All of our offices maintain stringent universal precautions to ensure that we provide a safe and healthy environment at all times. Together with our cleaning companies, we have ensured that we are using cleaning products that meet the guidelines and recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

In alignment with the recommendations from the CDC, all patients are receiving COVID-19 screening at the time of scheduling AND at the time of arrival. Upon arriving at our facilities, please follow the instructions posted on the exterior doors to call to gain access to the facility. We are kindly asking patients to reschedule their appointments if they have recently traveled or are experiencing any of the following symptoms: new cough, new onset of shortness of breath, fever or new loss of taste or smell.

At Naugatuck Valley Radiology, we are also taking measures within our facilities to ensure social distancing. Appointments are being staggered throughout the course of the day to decrease the volume of patients in our facilities at the same time. We also ask that all patients limit the number of guests accompanying them to their appointment to one and kindly ask that any guests wait in the car.

At this time, all routine screening exams will be scheduled after 5/4/2020

We thank you for your understanding as we all work together to navigate through this challenging situation.
