NVRA Administration
The NVRA Imaging Network provides our community of patients, referrers and staff with continued support and education. Our network of administrative offices has grown to include a billing, accounting, information systems, marketing and human resources department.

Christine Murphy
NVRA at 500 Chase Parkway

Christine graduated in 1971 from St. Mary's Hospital School of Radiologic Technology. She worked at St. Mary's Hospital, as a staff technologist in the Radiology Department, the Operating Room and the Emergency Room, from 1971 until 1983.
Christine began her career at Naugatuck Valley Radiological Associates in 1984 as a staff technologist at the Scovill Street office. She then obtained her certification in Mammography in 1991 and became the QC/QA technologist for mammography, a position that she continued until 2002.
Christine moved to the Chase Parkway facility in 1996 and became the supervising technologist of that facility in 1997. She then accepted the position of Manager of the 1389 West Main Street office in 2002. After managing that office for a year, in 2003 she moved back to the Chase Parkway office as manager of that facility.
Christine is a member of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the American Society of Radiologic Technologists. She currently resides in Waterbury and has two daughters, Allison and Courtney.

David Votto
NVRA at 1389 West Main Street

Mr. Votto attended Mattatuck Community College, Central Connecticut State College and subsequently enrolled in the Hospital of St. Raphael School of Radiologic Technology, where he obtained his RT in 1978. In 1990 he was awarded his BS degree in Radiologic Sciences from Quinnipiac College in Hamden, CT.
Mr. Votto trained and worked in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and the Angiography Lab at the Hospital of St. Raphael, obtaining special training in circulatory and neuro-angiography. He was an instructor in Radiologic Positioning and Radiographic Technique at the Hospital of St. Raphael School of Radiologic Technology, from 1979 through 1986.
Mr. Votto was hired by Naugatuck Valley Radiology Associates in 1988 as the Manager for Naugatuck Valley MRI, a position he held until becoming Operations Manager for Naugatuck Valley Radiology Associates in 1991. He is responsible for the overall operations of The NVRA Women's Center and the Naugatuck Valley Radiology Associates 1389 West Main Street facility. He is currently an instructor in Radiologic Physics and Protection at Naugatuck Valley Community-Technical College and an Adjunct Instructor at Quinnipiac University. Mr. Votto is also the managing member of Veterinary Imaging Services, located in Cheshire.
Mr. Votto is a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists, the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, the Connecticut Society of Radiologic Technologists and an active participant in the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association. He is a founding member of OES.
Mr. Votto resides in Cheshire.

Chris Beaulieu

Chris Beaulieu graduated in 1993 from Naugatuck Valley Community College in Waterbury, CT with an AS in Radiologic Science. In 1994, Chris completed a one-year certificate program in Nuclear Medicine at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT. In 2000, Chris graduated from the University of Hartford with his BS. He is currently enrolled in the Master of Health Administration program at Western Connecticut State University.
Chris began his employment in Radiology at Bristol Hospital as a staff technologist in 1992. From 1994-1999 Chris worked in the Nuclear Medicine department for St. Mary's Hospital. Since 1999 Chris has been the office manager for Diagnostic Imaging of Southbury.
Chris is currently licensed in the State of Connecticut for Radiography. Chris is nationally certified in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine by the ARRT and NMTCB.
Chris resides in Waterbury, CT with his wife Amy and their two daughters Elizabeth and Katherine.

Theresa Ostrander
Diagnostic Imaging of Southbury at Union Square

Theresa graduated from Yale New Haven School of Radiology Technology in 1973 and obtained R.T.R. certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). In 1994 she received her Bachelor of Science degree from the Teikyo Post University graduating Magna Cum Laude. Since graduating in 1973, she has been awarded advanced certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, (MR), CAT Scan (CT), and Mammography, (M).
Her career began at Danbury Hospital working primarily in the operating room. This was followed by working in a private radiology office performing X-ray procedures and specialized Mammographic Xeroradiographs. She continued her career at the Hospital of St. Raphael where she worked as a Special Procedures Technologist performing Angiographic and Cardiac Catherization procedures. She was also actively involved with their Radiology School as an instructor providing didactic and clinical instructions for the Radiology students. In 1981, she was promoted to CAT Scan supervisor.
Theresa joined NVRA in 1988. She is responsible for protocol development and implementation of MRI and CAT Scan for the NVRA network, working closely with the radiologists and the technical staff. She is manager of NVMRI located at St. Mary's Hospital. Working as an application specialist consultant and presenter for various seminars has further enhanced her career. Theresa is an adjunct faculty member for Quinnipiac College, Hamden, Connecticut, and Gateway Community College, North Haven, Connecticut, where she is responsible for didactic instruction in MRI.

Paula A. Bates
Business Office Manager

Paula has over 27 years experience in medical billing management. She managed an internal medicine practice for 18 years and has served NVRA Business Office since 1995.
Paula has an AS degree in science from Post College. She is a member of the Connecticut Medical Group Management Association and the Radiology Business Management Association since 1996.
She resides in Oxford with her husband Don, son Matthew & daughter Ashley.

Renee Gregory
Human Resources Manager/Marketing

Renee graduated Summa Cum Laude from Marymount College in Tarrytown, New York and was a member of the Delta Epsilon Sigma Honor Society. After completing her internship in the Human Resources Department at the American Management Society Headquarters in New York City, she received a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Business Management and minoring in Sociology.
Renee has over 16 years of Human Resources experience supporting businesses in several industries, including construction, software system support, independent consulting, and commercial printing. She enjoys utilizing her knowledge of proactive employee relations and communications, talent development, safety, lean manufacturing improvements, change management strategies, and benefits design/administration to support the entire staff at NVRA.
Renee resides with her family in Woodbury.

Robin Sills RN, BS
Nurse Coordinator

Robin Sills attended St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing and graduated from Mattatuck Community College with an AS in Nursing in 1981. During her nursing training Robin worked as a Laboratory Assistant at St. Mary's Hospital in the Bacteriology Department. Upon graduation she worked as a RN at St. Mary's Hospital on the Orthopedic and Neurological Unit from 1981-1989. She served as charge nurse of the unit from 1987-1989.
In 1989 Robin accepted a position as Nurse Coordinator of the Women's Center for Breast Health with Naugatuck Valley Radiology Associates and St. Mary's Hospital. In 1994 Robin received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Connecticut. Robin joined the management staff of Naugatuck Valley Radiology Associates in 2003. Her responsibilities include patient care services and marketing coordination. She provides community outreach programs including symposiums and support groups in collaboration with various area agencies.
She has been a volunteer for the American Cancer Society since 1989 and currently serves the Greater Waterbury Unit Council President. Robin also serves on the various committees with the Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center including the Annual Breast Health Symposium and National Cancer Survivors Day. In 2004 Robin was elected to serve on the Health Care Council Board and the Business and Women's Forum Committee at the Greater Waterbury Chamber of Commerce.
Robin resides in Prospect with her husband Richard and two children, Meghan and Joseph.

Robin Laskarzewski
HIPPAA Compliance Coordinator

Robin works at NVRA in the dual role of Privacy Officer and Systems Administrator. She holds an AS degree in Radiologic Science and is licensed in Radiology with the state of Connecticut. She is registered with both the AART and ARDMS professional organizations. Robin has been with NVRA since 1981 and has had the opportunity to work in many different roles for the organization. Her hobbies include reading and downhill skiing in addition to spending quality time at home with her family.

Robert Jaffy
Information Systems Manager

Robert Jaffy graduated Wolcott High School as a member of the national honor society. Bob attended the University of Connecticut at Storrs from 1971-1975. To further his education, Bob then attended Waterbury State Technical College (now Naugatuck Valley Community College), graduating with highest honors. Bob received his Associates degree in data processing.
Bob began his data processing career as a programmer. He has since moved on as a Sr. Systems Analyst, Data Processing Consultant and Project Leader. Bob joined the Health Care field, working at Waterbury Hospital from 1990 through 1997. He then moved on to St. Mary's Hospital, working in the Radiology Department. In 2003, Bob joined the Naugatuck Valley Radiological Associates as their Information Services manager. He is responsible for keeping the NVRA on the cutting edge in the Radiology field, utilizing the latest software advances in PAC's, voice recognition and Radiology Information systems. Bob is especially proud of NVRA's integrated systems that allow for instant report turnaround and for software that allows the area physicians to view patient's x-rays on-line in their own offices.
Bob resides in Wolcott, with his wife Alice and their two children, Rachel and Benjamin.

Carol Friia
Accounting Manager

Carol has over 20 years accounting experience with 15 years experience in health care accounting and 8 years in financial accounting management.
Carol has a Bachelors of Business Administration from Western Connecticut State University. She successfully passed the CPA examination and is a member of the Institute of Managerial Accountants.
Carol resides in Cheshire with her family, husband Paul, daughter Jacquelyn and son Alexander.
